Over the last several years, I’ve returned to one guiding question: How can small teams create scalable, sustainable impact, especially in resource-constrained or rapidly evolving environments?
That question led me to international development as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar in Kosovo, to nonprofit work supporting women executives and community-based mental health, and eventually to my first role in venture capital. Now, it brings me to Construct.
Building systems for meaningful innovation
I entered the workforce during COVID-19, supporting communications and operations for mission-driven nonprofits. I saw how strong messaging and well-built systems could move people to action, even in uncertain conditions. But I also saw the limits of impact without a scalable engine for innovation.
After a Fulbright year working across universities, refugee camps, and NGOs in Kosovo, I returned to the U.S. to explore how emerging technology could bridge global challenges and local impact. At Roble Ventures, a future-of-work and learning VC firm, I wore many hats on a three-person team—operations, communications, investor relations, portfolio support—and earned certifications in digital marketing and venture finance. I saw how hard founders work to solve complex problems, and how they thrive with intentional, courageous support. That realization led me to the DMV’s venture ecosystem and to Construct.
Why Construct
Construct’s thesis immediately resonated. Foundational industries like manufacturing, supply chain, and critical infrastructure are the backbone of our economy. Yet these sectors have been underinvested in and slow to modernize. Construct’s founders, Dayna and Rachel, recognized this early and have spent years backing the teams transforming them.
As Chief of Staff and Investor Relations, I streamline internal systems, build automated workflows, and augment our team with AI so we can work more efficiently and consistently for founders. My goal is to free up time for deep work helping companies scale and clearly communicating why the U.S. deserves a modern, vibrant infrastructure.
A team built for impact
Throughout my career, I’ve been energized by small, mission-aligned teams that punch above their weight. Construct embodies that spirit: values-driven, operator-minded, and committed to building something lasting. If you’re building toward the same kind of impact, I’m excited to be in your corner.
